Can we play it?

Yes, but only in the club's visitor windows. There are no visitor times on Wednesdays, and on other days you're fitted around the members, mostly mid-morning or in the afternoon. The green fee is paid in full up front, and you don't get it back if you cancel. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.

    Every day but Wednesday: Monday from 11am, Tuesday and Thursday 9.40 to 11.52am or after 2pm, Friday 9.40 to 11.52am, Saturday after 3pm, Sunday after 1pm.

    It's $565 (£420) a player at the 2026 rate, paid upfront and non-refundable. The club hasn't published 2027 fees yet.

  • Our tip

    Ask for caddies with your tee-time request. They're self-employed, so it isn't guaranteed, and at busy times one caddie may carry for two players.

Can visitors play the Dunluce?
Yes, every day except Wednesday, in set visitor windows. Saturday is the members' competition day, so visitors start after 3pm.
Can you book Royal Portrush for us?

Can we book it ourselves?
Yes, directly with the club. If Royal Portrush is one of several courses on your trip, it’s simpler to plan the whole trip in one go.
What handicap do we need?
The club doesn't publish a limit. It expects visitors to be members of recognised golf clubs and may ask for handicap certificates before you play, so bring them.
How much will it cost in 2027?
The club hasn't published 2027 fees yet. In 2026 it's $565 (£420) a player from 1 April to 31 October, paid in full up front and not refunded if you cancel.
How much is a caddie?
$105 (£80) for an elite caddie, $95 (£70) senior and $80 (£60) trainee, each plus a tip. A fore-caddie for the group is $145 (£110). Availability isn't guaranteed.
Does The Open affect a 2027 trip?
The Open was last played here in 2025. The club's website lists no championship in 2027 that would close the Dunluce to visitors.
