Who we are
golftripbuilder.com is run by Stephen Pickering. He grew up in Northern Ireland and lived in Scotland for ten years, playing the links most weekends. Friends visiting from the US kept asking the same questions: can we get on, what's the catch, how far is it from the airport? The answers were spread across dozens of club websites. This site puts them in one place.
We also make Scoring Zone, a golf app.
How we check facts
Every course page lists visitor days, handicap limits, how to book and green fees, each checked against the club's own information. Each page shows the date we last checked it and the sources we used. When something changes, we update it.
