Can we play it?

Yes. Visitors can play the Strand on any day of the week, around set members' times. At weekends the members have the mornings, so visitor times start in the afternoon. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.

    Every day, around members' times: Monday to Thursday from 9am with a members' block around midday, Friday from 12.30pm, Saturday after 2.30pm and Sunday after 12 noon.

  • The catch Strict refunds

    Summer 2027 is $500 (£375) a player, every day. Cancel 30 days or more ahead and you get half back. Within 30 days you get nothing.

  • Our tip

    April and October are $275 (£205) in 2027, against $500 (£375) from May to September. The club says the lower rate reflects light course maintenance.

The club's website doesn't give a limit or say you need a certificate. Ask with your tee-time request, and bring certificates anyway.
How much is it in 2027?
$500 (£375) from May to September, $275 (£205) in April and October, and $105 (£80) from November to March, when you play off mats. It's the same price every day of the week.
Can we play 36 holes?
Yes, on weekdays, with both rounds on the same day. In 2027 it's $595 (£445) from May to September and $340 (£255) in April and October.
What if we have to cancel?
With at least 30 days' notice you get 50% back. Within 30 days there's no refund, unless the club manager agrees to more in exceptional circumstances.
