Can we play it?
Yes, on the same terms as the Old: Monday to Thursday, May to October, with very limited tee times and a handicap index of 18.4 or less (24.4 for women). Bookings for 2027 open in November 2026. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.
Access
Visitors Monday to Thursday, 4 May – 29 July and 31 August – 21 October 2027. Closed to visitors 30 July – 30 August 2027.
The catch
Same scarce diary as the Old Course, and the same fee: £485. No refund inside three months.
Our tip
Book the New and Old on the same day for £850. The club says the New is more rugged, with narrow fairways lined by heather, so play a provisional whenever you find the heather.
