Can we play it?

Yes, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in a normal week. The 2027 visitor diary is open, subject to availability. There's no visitor play from November 2026 to February 2027. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.

  • Access

    Visitors Monday, Tuesday and Friday in normal weeks, subject to availability, March to October 2027. Weekend visitor play is not normally allowed and Thursday is Ladies' Day. All play starts from the 1st tee.

  • The catch

    Only three visitor days a week, and the course is closed to visitors from November 2026 to February 2027. The club may insist on 2-ball or 3-ball play.

  • Our tip

    Ask for a Tuesday from April to September: the £480 golf-and-lunch package gets you the Club Room view after your round. Pack a jacket and tie if you plan to eat upstairs in the evening.

Is the course closed at any time?
Visitors can't play from November 2026 to February 2027. The Harold Hilton Tournament returns in May 2027.
