Can we play it?

Not in 2027 unless a time comes back: the club says visitor tee times are fully booked for 2026 and 2027, including its Birkdale Experience package. Visitors normally play on Mondays and Thursdays, with Wednesdays sold only as the package. Details of 2028 availability are still to come. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.

Buggy £50 with a medical certificate (no advance bookings before 1pm; own buggies not allowed); electric trolley £25 (pre-book); pull trolley £5; club hire £60.

Do we need a caddie?
Not required. A caddie is £80 per bag, or a forecaddie for the group from £100, paid in cash.
What's the dress code?
Collared shirt tucked in and golf shoes; tailored shorts with ankle socks. No jeans, tracksuits, round-neck T-shirts or trainers. Hats off in the clubhouse.
