Can we play it?
Yes, seven days a week. No handicap certificate is needed. You play 18 of the club's three nines (Himalayas, Shore and Dunes), and there's a lodge on site for stay-and-play. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.
Access
Visitors 7 days a week in a four-ball format. In low season (28 Oct 2026 – 28 Feb 2027), weekend golf is only available with a Lodge Winter Links package.
The catch
Full payment up front, and no refunds if you choose not to play in rain unless the club closes the course.
Our tip
Use Prince's as your weekend round: Royal St George's and Royal Cinque Ports don't take visitors Friday to Sunday. Book a Lodge stay-and-play and you're a few minutes from both.

- Can visitors play Prince's?
- Yes, seven days a week, as four-balls. From late October to February, weekend golf comes only with a Lodge Winter Links package.
- Can you book Prince's for us?

- Can we book it ourselves?
- Yes, directly with the club. If Prince's is one of several courses on your trip, it’s simpler to plan the whole trip in one go.
- What handicap do we need?
- None. The club notes that high handicappers may find the course quite challenging.
- What's the dress code?
- Recognised golf attire and golf shoes. Shirts need a collar and sleeves and must be tucked in. Shorts must be tailored. No denim, tracksuits, flip-flops or trainers on the course or in the clubhouse.
- Which 18 do we play?
- Prince's has three nines: Himalayas, Shore and Dunes. You play two of them, and the club tries to honour requests when the tee sheet allows.
- Any closures in 2027?
- Prince's hosts Final Qualifying for The 155th Open on 29 June 2027 and The R&A Boys' Amateur Championship from 9 to 14 August 2027. Expect no visitor tee times on those dates.
