Can we play it?
Yes, both Arnold Palmer courses take visitors. No handicap certificate is needed for normal play, but from April 2027 groups of two or more on Palmer North must take a caddie. Add it to your trip and Scotland Golf Tours requests the tee time for you.
Access
Visitors on both courses. Palmer North hosts the 2027 Amgen Irish Open (1–4 July 2027).
The catch
From April 2027, a caddie is compulsory for any booking of two or more on Palmer North. Expect limited availability around the Irish Open in early July 2027.
Our tip
Play Palmer North for the Ryder Cup history, then Palmer South at half the price (€130 vs €260 in summer 2026). Stay at the hotel for lower resident rates.
